ok, I ID'd my quest items that cannot be used right now. The 'Harp' is made of wood, and the piece of ancient key is iron. The name of the harp changed, it is now Bow of the Ancients. I think the key needs to be complete, then unlocks the door to this ancient dude, and either he does something to the bow for you, or wants it back or somethin....and here is what it said when I id them both:

saw Zanara's Summoned Spirit of Earth on FI, looked bad ass. has 650 hp. Its attack looked like a kid bashing the kicthin table with fork and spoon in hand demanding food. the water summon attack is more of a wussy under hand push.

AllInfinite and I were seeing if we could survive on FI alone if we summoned greater elemental. it wasn't hard at all, but there were a lot of ppl there, so not as many mops as usual :( anyways, when summon was on same cell as drake and drake would pump pots, looked sweet(better then pic). here is what I took of one drake, I try and get better pic later...

cant forget the single most important update ever in Lineage. VOLUME CONTROLS BEYOTCH!!!!!

some new crap came with the update that I noticed today
apples have their own animation now, it looks bigger in game.

Also, bug bears on Forgotten Island now cast lightning, usually when they are about to die.
update: apparently all the bbs are doin this, not just FI bbs :) [-allinf]

GM's were closely monitoring the elf quest area where the apparition spawns. here are some pics of him/her speaking. (I was one of the ppl up front TRYING to let the elves take their turn at getting the quest done)

well I got the quest done in a decent amount of time. GM had to help me a bit. was nice of him/her
anyways, the NEW SUMMON!
water elemental has 720 hp, regens at 18 hp a tick, and has a +1 cell range.
it did up to 30 damage against about -65 ac knight. does about 23-25 average.
if it wasn't as slow, I would never leave home without it. but it does fall behind on FI trips.
I think next I will try random teleing around 6th fl dvc, see how it handles that.

Roscoe finally hit 47. He got 10hp which puts him in good position to have 400hp at lvl 48. It'll be a long time till he lvls again though hehe. I use two dobs, Roscoe and DeSoto. You might recognize the names from Oliver and Company.

My friend wanted to sport our pledge emblem,

, on LoA so I created Legions and TheUsualSuspects pledge on LoA. It brought back fond memories of when I created the pledge on dep in dec. 2001. Anyways, I was hunting with my buddy on TI trying to hit lvl 10. I encountered these two geniuses who failed to pk my lvl 7 char. LANKAN apparently thought two rangers wouldnt be a problem as he tried to whack me. He was wrong. B0WGUN used the ebolt spell to do her dirty deed. She almost had me but my short sword proved too powerful.

oh yes, the server is down so I decided to post.
I have bm'ed the proper spots for the elf quest, and started near Masha in werldern,
where the quest starts, I have pots, wafer, arrows, and an hour haste. oh yes, no one
can stop me now!

Finally the lvl 45 quests are coming!!!!!
Of course I will be buying my cloak as I have yet to complete any of the new mage quests. Hunting for the skel skull is mind numbing. I cant do it.

I read many of the posts at the lineage.com boards.
I found a thread about magic resistance and elemental rings.
In short, a couple gamers did tests and found elemental rings dont simply add normal mr for a specific element. For example, if you have 50% base mr and a fire ring you DONT just have 80% mr against fire. Some tests show they are more effective. Read for yourself. Magic Resistance discussion

I was bored of hunting today so I decided to solo FI.
What a rush. Walkin around with only kbb to back me up. I hunted spots with fairly low spawn rates. I got crappy experience in these areas. Hopefully I can handle harder spots tomorrow. If you plan on trying to solo FI be sure to bring enough magic gems to slow mops. Also, practice makes perfect. Be careful your first time out. :)

I was hunting the pieceful fire valley, when I see newb chao Bossman running from 10 mops. I stand there as he runs past me, and right as all the mops are around me, he venz. there were more than in the pic, but this is after I killed a few and ran to corner myself. I pk him next time I see him ><
