Yea, I've been sooo busy lately. I literally can only log on for a few minutes on nights that I work. What you see here is all the lineage action I get these days. It sucks as far as lineage and lvling goes. Ever since Genesh, Inc. bought the Burger King I work at I've only had increased hours, but increased pay also. I make $400 a week now as 1st Asst. Manager. I'm just below General Manager. My boss, who is a District Manager for several stores, wants me to be General Manager for my store. We really don't have a GM now. I'd be making $600 a week, at least he says, if I took the position. It's good pay for a 22 year old w/o a degree yet. It is soooo many hours though and 6 days a week. I'm torn between school and work now. I know people that have college degrees and spent the time in school and now cant find any work since they've graduated. I don't know what to do now. I was at Old Chicago tonight like I always am. My friend told me be careful Brian you might get stuck in the BK business. I said yea that's what I've been thinking about. Is it so bad though, to be stuck in the fast food industry? My boss makes bank and there are still 2 people above him; his boss, then the franchisee owner. My boss got a degree in India then moved to California and got another post graduate degree at Cal Berkeley in International Business. Cal Berkeley is a fucking awesome school but he passed on a job in his field because he knew there was more money in fast food. I dont know what to do. In Kansas $600 week is fucking MONEY. It costs nothing to live here. I have my own 1 bedroom apartment for $375 a month. However, amongst my friends and family I'd feel like a loser w/o a college degree. I'd feel 100x better being a fast food GM with a college degree than a GM w/o one. I feel like telling my boss I want to graduate first, but I feel like I'd be letting him down and I'd be passing up a great opportunity. Anyways, I have 6 beers from the Cinco de Mayo Tour in me and I felt like telling you all my current situation. :) Thanks for reading!
