Yesterday I played quite a bit in the morning after work. My goal was just to lvl my rabbit to 18. Simple enough, he was already 43%. It took a lot longer than it should have. It died about 6 or 7 times, I lost count. It was a real test of patience. I was successful though.
After that I went to bed. Only 2 hours later some loud ass mother freakin thunder woke me up. Lighting must have struck outside my window cuz this thunder made me hit the ceiling. I went back to sleep and for the next 6 or 7 hours thunder kept waking me up. A few times I stared out my window watching the thunderstorm. It looked like a hurricane outside.
After a while I logged on lin and forgot about sleep. I found GalsElf and Aeceana in town. Haven't seen them in forever! After Gals logged, me, Aeceana and Lytes went to ToI 34f. We journeyed up to 40f and back down.
We found a 41f scroll for each of us.
I had to leave the hunt early to go to work. I looked outside and it was still pouring rain. I called a friend for a ride but he said cars were getting stuck in floods. I had to hoof it. I stepped outside and within minutes was soaked. I had a jacket and hood to keep my upper body dry but everything waist down was drenched. What about an umbrella? I dont own one. lol It wouldnt have helped anyway cuz the wind would have taken it away. When I arrivedat BK a coworker said there had been tornado warnings through the day. Later, a worker from a restaurant at the intersection where I live said he watched at least a dozen cars get stuck in the water. Cops were all there pushing people out. This summer has been a wet one here in Lawrence, KS and this was by far the worst storm I've seen.
Lawrence Journal World is the town paper. You can read an online article about the storm here.
This pic in the article is at that intersection I was talkin about. There is a hill behind the cameraman where my apartment is. All the streets around drain to 23rd St. and it turns into a river.

Lottery tickets....zzz
2 more from fire warriors:
The ticket looks like twigs on the ground:
2 from dopels:
Another from Elmore soldier:
ALL LOSERS YAAAY.
I've been trying to compare this to a real life lottery, you know cuz winning is so rare. My conclusion is this lottery event sucks a lot more ass than real lotteries. I think this event should be more like the big lotteries around the States with winning numbers and purchasable tickets. My biggest gripe with this lottery event is you have to win twice, first you need to win a ticket(get the rare drop) then try again for the rare prize. You have to be lucky just to participate. Purchasable tickets would solve this problem. Another thing I'd like to see is a running jackpot lottery with winning numbers. There could be multiple jackpots and lotteries running for the duration of the event, so you could buy tickets either for lotteries that end in a couple hours or the main lottery that ends at the end of the event. Then, after all this thinking and typing I thought the turnout would probably be so low it would be depressing and the jackpot would be like 200k adena at the end of the event. Not enough people play Lineage at the moment.
Still, I think lotteries would be a cool part of the game. Giran Lottery, Weldern Lottery, Heine Lottery, etc. Have them run for a week. Winning numbers announced by NPCs. Tax the winnings of course to boost castle income.
Anyways, sorry for the long post.
I helped my friend BABETH do the lvl 45 quest. The quest dopel wasn't at the spawn point so I went to go look for it. After a while I opened up my Aden Map. I went west towards giran. I started walking north and south between Aden and Heine, moving from west to east as I went. I covered every square inch of that territory. I was waaaay east walking north and I was about to give up when I found a dopel without BABETH's name or my name. I had found the quest mop. I killed it and waited with BABETH for it to respawn. He didnt have a staff but was able to kill it with cone of cold. Helping people is good.
