I had high hopes to bring in lots of gold yesterday. A few things got in the way though. First, I didnt start early enough. I started about 3hrs before work because I was busy irl. I started anyway because I didnt want to waste any time online I had. Second, I didnt empty my packs before I started. I had no idea they would fill up so quickly. I was roarin' through the first hour of farming and had to go to Ironforge to bank stuff, vendor junk, and auction some loot. That took awhile. And lastly, horde. When I first arrived I had no problems. I saw a 56 and 53 Shaman who both didnt bother me any. When I got back from my pitstop in IF I was greeted with a few other horde. I didnt think anything of it. So I'm killing some stuff and when I'm low on mana I get zapped by some druid's Moonfire. I look around find a tauren druid casting some stuff on me, Ejviper. I run over and fear him into some other mobs. I try to quickly finish the mob I'm fighting. As I'm doing this I notice I get smacked with a curse and DoT. A warlock is about no doubt, Zenfuyisagi. I see him cliff hunting me. There are some ledges in the cave and there he is up on top. I get out of his line of sight and regen. I head up to where he is. I see him there with the druid. I attack and kill em both. lol
The warlock had his soulstone up though and while I was trying to kill mobs I had aggro'd during the fight he res'd and killed me. I ran back in and res'd and regen'd. The next battle lasted maybe 20seconds. I caught them after they had killed a couple mobs. I feared them into U'cha, a lvl 55 ape. I mana burned the druid and he tried to run. He only ran into more mobs though and died. The warlock did the same thing. I was careless after that though. I was killing mobs near their corpses and they res'd and killed me quickly. I ran back and they are sitting on my corpse. I ran around a corner where they couldnt see me and res. They didnt notice for awhile and I regen'd to full. They came around the corner and another fight began. This time the warlock had his succubus. I'm not sure what he was planning on using it for. Maybe for crowd control after I fear them into a bunch of mobs, dunno. They almost had me this time but I found a couple respawns of apes. I feared the druid and like magic the druid heads straight into about 3 mobs. The mobs go to work on the druid and I finish of the warlock. I had aggro'd a few apes again though and couldnt kill em. I head back to the cave and see the horde pair res'd and fighting. They are losing to some mobs. I was gonna res and kill em but I just watched instead. Dunno if they died or not, all I saw was them running away. I didnt see them after that.
Lots of fun. I need a lot of work in the PvP department though.

Yay! 2/8 now. Random guy wis me for a 5 man LBRS run. Yea...we didn't get far, but I got this.


This also dropped, we disenchanted it and rolled on shard.


Got another drop(winterspring quest) right after I posted about the legs.


Horde decided to raid darnassus. They didn't get far. Everyone was scared at first, but once a few 60s of alliance came and some guards spawned, horde got raped.

I sold my cloth chest piece last night, was a little more than I thought it would be, last I checked it was at 6g. haha

and I got 1 more drop from that area. This is the 4th drop and I've done the quest 12 times. So 1 drop every 3 rounds, not too bad.

I did a few Stratholme runs, 2 or 3 I forget...here are some drops, we did undead part only.

I didn't take pics of a couple of the greens I got and sold. I did get those Gauntlets though, first part of Valor set for me. For those who don't know, each item in the set drops from different bosses in BRS/BRD(?)/Scholomace/Stratholme. Some drop from only 1 boss, like the boots, but I think others drop from multiple bosses.
Here is the drops from the last time we killed final boss Baron Rivendare.

Rivendare and only Rivendare drop the Legplates of Valor I need. I have Legplates of the Eternal Guardian at the moment, so I won't be itching to get these as much as the BP of valor.
I've started to do the quest in Winterspring that eventually leads to an epic mount. I've read up on it, everyone says it's so much work blah blah, and been told that I need to be exaulted with darnassus by a few people also, but I'm doin it anyway. Besides, it's kinda good money. Done the quest 8 times now(have to do it 60 times before I can start the next quest), and I've gotten a few drops.
Here are the ravagers I kill for the chillwind meat, killed 3 at once here. I try to use retaliation as much as possible, so I don't feel like I'm wasting it. I also look for 2 near eachother so I can use sweeping strikes and cleave.

Here are the drops I've gotten from these mobs so far, not counting vendor crap.

Tomorrow it's on. I bought a bunch of mana drinks and I will farm mobs until I run out.

I ran to my target farming zone before I logged off today. I kill 3 mops per mana drink. And I need 15-20 seconds to kill each mop. And I've never timed it but I think I need 1 minute to regen from 0 mana to full. So I'm looking at 300+ mobs tomorrow at 3 mops/2minutes, 90mops/hour. Throw in running to next mop, chatting, eating, breaks, etc. and I believe it'll take 4hrs. I really have no idea how much gold I'll end up with and I've never done this before so I'm probably not picking the best spot. But whatever. My next post will be tomorrow after my experiment.

I picked up these off Balnazzar in the human side of Stratholme. 10 Mooncloth will take me 40 days to make. However, I will probably have a lvl 60 mount before that and will be able to spend my gold on mooncloth at the auction house.

I had a short post ready yesterday but put it off. Then got a few invites to Upper Blackrock Spire. I had never been to Upper BRS so I had to go. :) I just took pics of a lot of drops. Tons of loot up there. I picked up 1 upgrade so I was happy.
First Trip:
Warchief Rend Blackhand end.


A warrior rolled and won on this. He didnt realize the sword is Off Hand only. So he can't use it with his shield. There's also Dal'Rends Sacred Charge for Main Hand and the pair make a good dual wield. Not many warriors use dual wield though. The other item in the shot is Bonespike Shoulder.

I think everyone passed on these items and we rolled for greed. That mace is nice though. I guess it didnt suite anyone in this raid.

That's all there is to Upper BRS I think. There are a couple other named we killed. Nothing exciting though. A rogue picked up his Shadowcraft Belt. Those BoE set pieces are a real pain to find so that was nice pickup.

After I picked up Trindlehaven I set out to max my Staff skill. I went to EP where lvl 59-60s spawn. Picked up this sack.

It replaces one of my tailored 14slot bags.

Also, here's my current gold count. 900g for a lvl 60 mount.

The drops keep coming. Thought I would never see this again. And I rolled and won this time too. :D A druid in my party said he'd done the Lower Blackrock Spire 25 times to get this staff. He dropped a ton of F bombs in raid chat afterward. Roll higher next time buddy.
