ok, time to talk about my new weapon. Looks like it came just in time with the new patch and everything coming our way. Consecrated lent me some gold to buy the axe. He bought the whole thing from a guy while I was in Stratholme, so I payed back what I could, still owe Consecrated 300g.
I thought this was funny: thanks for the added security check. Not sure if this is thottbot or WoW

and here it is, my new axe

specs

it gives me a new spell to cast on mobs, here are all my spells that I can cast on a mob now.

and some more grind drops. I invited a hunter to come hunt with me so he could skin everything. I got quest meat faster and he got free skinning, so everyone was happy. It didn't last long, he left after 1 quest completion. I nagged him about the second 2, which I got after he left.

After 30 Frostsaber Provision quests, I finally got a new quest. Word is that it doesn't give any more rep though, and a guy posted you have to do it 420 times total(390 more times).

Some stuff to note in the upcoming patch, not mentioned by Silverslicer:

Dungeon Player Caps
  • Blackrock Spire capped at 15 members.

  • Dire Maul(the new dungeon) capped at 5 players.

  • All other dungeons capped at 10 members.

comment: no more zerging. zerging is when you take a load of players and just rampage through the dungeon in order to quickly take out the bosses for the loot.

Spells in PvP now have a slight increase in range and area of effect when targets are moving. This should improve the overall usability of spells and ranged attacks.
comment: this is nice for me. many many times in pvp i lose range on a target because of long casting times, either after fearing them or when they are running away.

Priest
  • Prayer of Fortitude - This spell is now cast on the target's party.

  • Power Word: Shield - Now castable on all raid targets.

comment: both are very convenient. i can cast prayer of fortitude on the whole raid w/o having to switch groups then cast again on the players i was switched for.

Crown of the Penitent effect made more appropriate for the quality and level of item.
comment: i just sold this to vendor YESTERDAY. holy hell it better not be better than my current helm.

Silithus has been itemized.
comment: sweeeet. i had a quest to kill mobs there and nothing there drops a single item.

All of the creation professions have had one or more dropped recipes added to raid level targets.
comment: cool. but probably something useless for tailors.

If you enter an instance in a group, and then leave that group, you will not be able to complete quest objectives until you rejoin the group.
comment: everyone better get those Stratholme and Scholomance quests finished up!!

Anyways, there's a ton more I dont feel like repeating here. The only major thing I dont like is the item changing. I didnt list them all here but blizzard is adjusting the stats on quite a few items. This sucks for people who have passed, trashed, or vendored unique, quest, and rare items.

I read the HUGE update consecrated posted about(below). Here are some of the major changes warriors can be looking forward to:

Battle Shout - Rage cost reduced
Heroic Strike - Damage increased
comment: I stopped using this because I just used mortal strike all the time. Even though Mortal Strike took up more rage, it was more efficient...will have to reevaluate now.
Execute - Full rage is no longer consumed when the ability does not hit
comment: This is huge. With warriors, we miss sooo much, and so do special attacks. This special attack use to take up all rage, hit or miss. All other special attack, if you miss, don't take full amount of rage they originally cost.
Overpower - Should now be usable when a special attack is dodged
comments: sweet. Getting back to wasted rage. So annoying when you spend 30 rage on a move and they dodge it.
Fixed a bug where rage was not being generated when normal melee attacks were parried, dodged, and blocked
comments: This is the other huge one. I didn't even know it was a bug. This will give warriors a LOT more rage.

Dire Maul Preview
"Dire Maul is a new high-level dungeon encounter featured in World of Warcraft's next content patch!"
-Worldofwarcraft.com

I can't wait to go check this dungeon out. Fresh, new content is always good stuff.

ALSO:
MAJOR CHANGES
Ton of changes, many of them critical. I'll comment on them later.

mostly screenies for the moment, suppose to go biking in a bit.
Here are some grind drops

I equipped bracers, they are ok for now. Never really have the chance to upgrade bracers, ah well.
Here are some instance drops that I got. There is a bunch of other stuff, but I think they upped the drop rate in stratholme. Two Lightforge Bracers dropped in 1 hunt, and 3 in the next.

I let a mage disenchant the shield and gave me large shard.

I will post later about my new weapon, I don't have a pic of it on me yet and my friends are here to bike.

So I hit publish on my last post and nothing happened and I lost it all. So not a lot of text this time, just pics.

Finished this quest. Never thought I'd see Molten Core. Thanks Nova for the invite.

Went on a raid to human side Stratholme. I need two items from there. Devout Bracers and Grimgore Noose. I got neither. :( So damn frustrating.
Balnazzar end and drops.

This dropped TWICE this run within 10 minutes of eachother. Lucky enchanters. Almost everyone rolled on them though, including non-enchanters. Greed before need I guess.
